You know the question you get asked as a kid, what do you want to be when you grow up? My answer was always a movie director.
I spent ten years as a social worker, then started my own business as a premarital coach and officiant, officiating over 60 weddings! One of my favorite parts of running my own business was creating fun social media content, using storytelling, showing up in front of the camera, and just being my authentic self.
After a big personal life change, I decided it was time to start something new doing what I love most - social media management and content creation. Just like that, Tjoy Social was born, named after my middle name, Joy. Fun fact, Tirzah and Joy together sounds like tears of joy.
I never did become a big time Hollywood movie director, but in my own way, starting Tjoy Social was my homage to that dream; telling stories creatively through a camera lens. It just happens to be my iPhone on a tripod!
I am so excited to support small businesses and organizations in finding the joy in social media, and to capture the beautiful moments of nearlyweds on their wedding day. I love what I do, and I would love to work with you!

I’m a Denver-based queer-owned social media manager and strategist who helps small businesses turn social media into something that actually feels fun, aligned, and sustainable.
